If you ask the average person their opinion on workplace romance, I am sure you would hear all horror stories. This is not that story.

April and Adam met in 2018, after Adam joined the Member Services department at CDPHP. At that time April was a customer service advocate. It’s a long standing joke, that whenever asked how long they’ve been together, they’ll say the “officially dating” anniversary “ + three years”. What started off as a friendship developed into much more. The three years they spent as friends, gave them their foundation. From that foundation a home was quickly built when Adam, Finley and Effie moved into 13 Hembold a mere 2 months later ( thanks to a new increased rental agreement ).

April and Adam love their work, volunteering, gardening and reigning in each other’s house plant and eating-out habits. In the summer, you’ll most likely find them at SPAC, enjoying any artist that may be performing or elbow deep in the gardening dirt.
